Lady Hatchet is now accepting students throughout the DMV (DC, Maryland, and Virginia) for private guitar lessons! With 17 years of experience, Kristin is a teacher who understands the positive impact that playing music can have on a person's life and truly believes that EVERYONE should be able to play an instrument, if only for oneself. Kristin will encourage you through the challenges of a new skill, respect your efforts, and will bring her passion and enthusiasm for music to your lessons, always making it FUN as well as educational.

Kristin prides herself on customizing all her lessons to each student's desires, ability level, and musical taste. You want to learn modern pop songs? Kristin can teach you. You want to rock out to classic rock or punk rock of the 70s and 80s? Kristin loves to rock. You want to get down to some soul music or reggae from the 60s and 70s? Kristin loves to get down. You want to get a little bit country? Kristin will get country. Whatever you want to play, Kristin will make it happen because she knows that students will enjoy practicing their instrument more if they like the songs they are working on. And the more one practices, the easier and more fun it gets.
